Many of today’s educational programs fail you and your students in part because they are based on a stale, flawed formula: read the book, answer the questions, and do an activity …maybe. Those traditional programs introduce students to new concepts through the printed word. Sure, some pictures and diagrams are thrown in to “pretty up” the page. But the fact still remains that unless students are reading at or above grade level, their chance of mastering new abstract concepts and principles is severely hampered. Add Sight-Based Instruction to the mix and we think you’ll be amazed.
